Alfio Gangemi ★★★★☆ I enjoyed my stay here, right near the West Club, not far from Shaol Bay and Fingal Bay, the only downside not a convenience store in walking distance, no chip or drink machine anywhere at the hotel, so if you had a few alcoholic drinks at West Club your stuck for driving to a place, so bring goodies with you.Ian Holden ★★★★★ Loved our stay here. After a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment it set the trend for a great stay. Nice easy walk to the water and the club. Reception last was nice and helpful. We will be back.Steve Hayden ★★★☆☆ Good: The bed is really comfortable. It was quiet with no road noise to disturb our sleep. We did hear cars in the car park in the morning, but nothing super early. The staff are friendly and helpful.Bad: Really needs renovation. Bathroom is old and dated. The couch is a bed settee and useless for sitting on. The cushions don't keep you from the bed frame below so extremely uncomfortable. No crockery or cutlery other than 2 glasses, 2 coffee cups and teaspoons so even eating takeaway food was difficult. The fridge had no shelves either. The tv was older and didn't work on all channels. Some had only sound, no picture. It is a drive to source food and drink. Only food in walking distance is the Korean restaurant below which we found pricey for what we wanted to eat. Others might think it quite reasonable.Nona Putral ★★★★☆ The first room we put us in the TV was not operating, the shower screen desperately need replacement. We reported this to management and was moved to a new room.Julie, the manager told me she had only been there for 18months and was trying to have the rooms upgraded .Both rooms were very clean an comfortable. We would happily rebook at Peninsula Hotel.Yvonne Burns ★★★★★ It's always clean, comfortable & a lovely group of people that look after you very well. Breakfast is always great, the Chinese restaurant & coffee is terrific too. Thanks to everyone who makes our stay wonderful. This is an old post, we haven't stayed there since then & since it changed hands! We can't afford it anymore!Older management was great!GD “Sydneysider” ★★★☆☆ no value for money at 250$/night.reception staff not very friendly or welcoming.bed not done by house keeping and toiletries left on the luggage area without care.bed is OK, bathroom is OK. Not a place you want to stay for a week. Not recommended if you have other options. I will not come back.Willy & Ziggy D ★★★★★ Everything you need for a basic, comfortable, hassle free short stay over. Wifi worked well for an easy nightime traveller Netflix binge. Comfy beds. Great service. Right by the town and short distance from RAAF base, if you're staying there to see a relative graduate like we were. We'll be back 👍👍👍👍👍Mark Whetton ★★★☆☆ We had a shared room door which lit up around 12 am when neighbours got in and you could hear there conversation which went till about 2am so ask for a room without a shared room door 🚪. Other than that it was clean and good bed.Zach Chen ★★★★☆ Rooms were clean but there was a musky carpet smell, maybe it was steam cleaned just before we arrived? Anyway apartment was a decent size and the reception staff were nice. Price was reasonable.Mike Wells ★★★★★ Incredible team, nothing was an issue. Rooms were fantastic and a very convenient location a short stroll to town shops. We’ll be back!
